While building his business up north his mother had relocated to Sanibel Island, Florida which Steve and his family would often visit over a 20 year period, particularly to enjoy the sunshine and fishing this area has to offer, eventually falling in love with Southwest Florida.  When the opportunity arose in 2001 The Taub family exited the Engine and Transmission business and immediately moved to Sanibel Island where they still reside today.  The purchase of Aztec Plumbing occurred on January 1 2002 and turned out to be one of the best decisions Steve and his family has ever made in addition to marrying his wife Laurie and raising three wonderful children.  Owning and operating Aztec Plumbing has offered the Taub family a rare opportunity to pursue a great lifestyle and become a huge part of the local community.  Everyone in the Taub family is truly grateful for the opportunity to be here. 

Steve in particular loves the thrill of being able to serve the community with the business and takes special pride in being voted "The Best" plumbing company in Southwest Florida for 8 straight years.

Chances are if you've called our office or stopped by then you've spoken with Mary. As office manager her list of responsibilities are far to numerous to mention. She does whatever needs to be done and does it well. Whether it's a permitting question or billing matter she is always there to help. Having been in the customer service industry  previously and working directly with people her skills are exceptional and she will stop at nothing to make sure that our customers have what they need to make them happy. Mary has been with us since 2002.

Jimmy has been in the plumbing industry for 20 years. He is responsible for all aspects of the construction division including remodeling at Aztec Plumbing. His extensive field experience helps him effectively manage his constantly changing schedule, advise his crews and keep his projects running smoothly and on time. The reputation and relationships he has established combined with his dedication have kept our construction division steady even as we go through hard economic times. His past employment with local plumbing supply houses ensures that we are receiving the best pricing for our customers.

Chris has been in the plumbing industry for 23 years. He is responsible for the operation of the service and repiping divisions at Aztec Plumbing. Chris was a union apprentice and journeyman eventually becoming a service technician and then a service manager. His field experience a gives him insight on what our technicians need to fix the problem right the first time. Making sure that our customers problems are resolved, that they have been charged fairly and that they are completely satisfied are the most important aspects of his job. Chris has a State of Florida plumbing license and is the qualifying agent for Aztec Plumbing. He has been with us since 2003.
